Why to use the system ?
All refundable containers, such as cans and bottles, that are brought back to the store are 100% recycled. With this system, nothing is lost, all is transformed. It’s the most ecologically-friendly way to recycle your beverage containers.
About the expanded deposit system
By the end of 2023, the Quebec government will expand the deposit system to include all plastic, glass and aluminum ready-to-drink containers from 100 ml to 2 litres.
What to return?
All beverage containers marked “CONSIGNÉE QUÉBEC” whether made from aluminum,
glass or plastic, can be returned for a refund. It’s as simple as that!
