A little levity in these times of confinement

Consignaction called on the comedic talents of Marie-Lyne Joncas to inform the public that it's best to keep their refundable/returnable containers during the pandemic, and above all, not to throw them away.

In a series of short, rather buffoonish video vignettes, Marie-Lyne shows us all the things we can do with our refundable/returnable containers to pass the time while the whole of Quebec is confined to the house. The sketches can be seen below, as well as on Instagram and Facebook.

Known for her audacious sense of humor, thanks in particular to her remarkable participation in the new show La Semaine des 4 Juliehosted by Julie Snyder, Marie-Lyne Joncas has been espousing the Consignaction cause for several months now. Her first offensives as a pro-deposit-refund influencer (165,000 people on her Instagram account) date back to spring 2019. She was also seen defending deposit-refund in a hilarious number on the show Occupation Double South Africa (see other news below) on V, as well as in a public service announcement on La semaine des 4 Julie (below).

"Many grocers and convenience stores across the province are busy taking sanitary measures and lack the resources to resume refundable/returnable containers. This situation is temporary. We recommend that people keep them at home, and above all not throw them away, while waiting for the good weather. This also saves people from having to travel, which would put them at risk," commented Normand Bisson, President of Boissons Gazeuses Environnement.
