Deposit-refund is the future
In April, Consignaction launched its national campaign under the slogan " deposit-refund are the future."
In fact, since 2023, the modernization and expansion of deposit-refund has been underway in Quebec. The aim of this modernization is to recover and recycle a greater number of redeemable beverage containers, thereby reducing our ecological footprint.
deposit-refund is also a way for citizens to fight climate change, by reducing the need to extract the raw materials needed to manufacture new beverage containers. All containers recovered are 100% recycled.
