Consignaction scores a goal in Quebec City
Consignaction is proud to be a partner of the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament, taking place in the Capitale-Nationale region from February 8 to 19!
The tournament, considered one of the most prestigious minor field hockey competitions in the world, welcomes some 100 teams from 13 countries and offers youngsters an unforgettable experience.
Consignaction will be on hand with animation and awareness activities aimed at players and their fans. In addition, dozens of deposit-refund boxes will be set up in the Videotron Amphitheatre, to ensure that cans and bottles consumed on site are recovered and do not end up in the garbage. All recovered containers will be 100% recycled.
"It's important to talk to young people and keep them well informed, so that they make recovery part of their lifestyle at an early stage," commented Sophie Boissonneault, Communications Director at Consignaction.
After more than sixty years of existence, the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament remains a memorable meeting place where thousands of players aged 11 and 12 come to defend their team's colors, just as Guy Lafleur, Wayne Gretzky and many other field hockey greats did before them at this same tournament. And for the first time in its history, the Tournament welcomes an all-female division.
