Hats off to La Vallée des Roseaux

La Vallée des Roseaux is a non-profit hospice. Located in Baie-Comeau, it offers services to improve residents' quality of life and provide psycho-emotional support. One of the home's greatest challenges is to maintain its free services. A few years ago, to help make ends meet, the home decided to launch an appeal to the community to help recover refundable/returnable containers. The response was magnificent. Every week, Vallée des Roseaux manages to collect between 400 and 600 bags of refundable/returnable containers. Last year alone, thousands of dollars were added to the organization's coffers. Just goes to show: deposit-refund can do a lot of good!
