Consignaction is taking advantage of the summer season to raise awareness among the general public, and families in particular, of the importance of returning refundable containers to convenience stores or grocery stores throughout Quebec.

Tour of campgrounds and parks

If you’re visiting a campground or a large park this summer, you might have the chance to meet our cheerful hosts in their Consignaction-coloured van or on their bike. If so, they’ll talk to you about the importance of deposits for the environment and offer you a chance to spin the wheel of fortune to win prizes.  The “Consignes-tu?” tour will take place over 10 weeks in 40 locations across the province.

Ciné Métro

Consignaction has partnered with the Ciné-Métro event as part of its outdoor movie tour. Since June 25 and until the end of August, ephemeral drive-in theatres have been set up in the parking lots of participating Metro stores in ten major regions of Quebec. These evenings of Quebec cinema for the whole family are completely free. Just before the screening, young and old alike have fun playing Consignaction’s giant – and educational – pocket game. Be careful not to aim for the trash can!

The Cogeco Tour

Consignaction is a partner of Cogeco Media’s Grande Tournée Estivale de Montréal 2021. In order to stimulate the revival of local businesses, stations 98.5, CKOI, Rythme FM and The Beat have joined forces to present listeners with the attractions, neighborhoods, activities and festivals not to be missed. Throughout the summer, a reporter on the ground travels the greater Montreal area and presents live reports, reminding us of the importance of bringing back our returnable containers. For eight weeks, listeners can also hear Consignaction’s awareness messages.
