Consignaction is an umbrella organization offering a variety of programs that promote and maximize the recovery of deposit-refund containers in Quebec, particularly by facilitating access to different residential and non-residential recycling infrastructures.
Boissons Gazeuses Environnement
Consignaction was set up in 2001 by Boissons Gazeuses Environnement (BGE), a non-profit organization created by the Quebec soft drink industry to administer the deposit system for non-refillable soft drink containers.
BGE’s mission is to
Help protect the environment by encouraging the recovery and recycling of single-use soft drink containers.
Manage the deposit-refund system as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.
Develop programs to maximize the recovery of returnable containers.
Ensure that members and various industry stakeholders abide by the Agreement.

Association des Embouteilleurs de Boissons Gazeuses du Québec (AEBGQ)
The association of Quebec soft drink bottlers (AEBGQ) represents the companies that produce and distribute soft drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages in Quebec. The AEBGQ includes more than 100 brands of soft drinks, juices, juice drinks, bottled waters, sports drinks, ready-to-serve iced coffees and teas, energy drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages.
Recyc-Québec
RECYC-QUÉBEC’s mission is to encourage Quebec to reduce, reuse, recycle and develop residual materials in a circular economy, as well as combat climate change. His mandate is to promote, develop and facilitate the reduction, re-use, recovery and recycling of containers, packaging, materials and products and their conversion, for resource conservation.
Le Consortium Écho-Logique
Founded in 2001, Consortium Écho-Logique is a social economy enterprise specializing in waste material management. Consortium Écho-Logique is the first company in Quebec to implement sustainable waste material management at event sites to create a green-minded popular movement with the help of his green team, festival-goers, event promoters and the public.
